With all the E3 hubbub I sadly missed Conan O'Brien's first Tonight Show, when it aired at least. Thankfully there's Hulu, and I was able to catch the entire episode there just this morning.
I had already been aware that Pearl Jam was going to be the musical guest on the show, but I obviously wasn't aware of the song they were going to play. Turns out, no one really could have guessed since it was a track from their previously unannounced new album, Backspacer. The track name is "Got Some":
Sounds decent, a lot like "Save You" off of Riot Act; but I think it's hard to get a feel for the song when you first hear it live ... at least for me. Hopefully we'll find out more about Backspacer soon.
