An untapped market finally comes to View From Heaven in our very first food review! To welcome this new topic, we'll start out with the most complex, traditional, and albeit well known item: the sandwich.
As with most sandwiches, this one has meat on it. In particular, roast beef, one of the "classics". Some like it hot, some like it cold, but this particular hunk of meat was cold; not that it should affect the score, but I was in a rush and had no time for it to be heated, so feel free to eat it as you please. But, a roast beef sandwich is still nothing without bread; I mean, really that's what makes a sandwich a sandwich, if you have no bread you may as well be a monster! So, to ensure flavor to the probably bland meat, this delight is wrapped with an onion roll, quite fitting but may disappoint 8-bit roll lovers.
And yet, the roast beef is still not alone, because there's always downloadable content. This particular sandwich arrives with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and French dressing; it's a mixed bag but it more or less compliments the main attraction. As for future content, nothing has been announced yet, but I'm sure we can look forward to mold and foul odors if this doesn't get consumed soon.
Graphically, the sandwich works. The meat was a little on the gray side, but the fancy onion roll casing really masked that. Taste-wise, I've had better, but I can't say it wasn't filling. So really, if you need something quick, a sandwich is the best way to go, but you may want to get something other than roast beef. Plus, if you're vegetarian, just look away in disgust, I don't blame you.
Overall Score: 5/10
P.S. ... APRIL FOOLS!!! Did you really think this was serious? You should have seen the look on your face! Priceless! But seriously, this would never happen on a normal day, cause well... why do you want to see a food review from people that generally write about video games and movies? That's like asking your doctor to come by your home and check out your faulty washing machine (yea, you know who you are). Anyways, hope you enjoyed that. Because even on jokes, we make sure we put in a lot of effort.
P.P.S. Don't prank us back... please!
