This Week In Lost - 4/1/09

Let's hope this week's Lost is an April Fool's Joke and not a sign o what's to come for the series. This is This Week in Lost!

Episode 11 - "What Happened, Happened"

Zach says: It seemed that this week was less about Lost, and more about the drama. This week deals with what Sawyer whispered to Kate before he jumped off the helicopter, and what was going on with Kate and Aaron. We also see what happens with young Ben, and near the end of the episode, things finally get interesting. Present-time Ben wakes up to a watching Locke, and it seems that next week will finally get back to what Lost is all about. It should be good.
Zach's Score: 6/10

JDW says: This episode takes place just moments after last week; Jin's found little Ben's shot body, and the Dharma people are trying to figure out what's going on while trying to keep Ben alive. At the same time, flashbacks (or is it forward now?) show up to allow us to learn just what happened to Claire's baby, Aaron.

First off, this is a Kate-centric episode, so what are you going to expect? The episode drags on, and as much as the writers try to make her story interesting and dramatic ... I just don't care, and I know I'm not alone on that. In fact the most interesting part of the episode doesn't even come until the final few seconds of the episode. Sure, we got to find out about what Kate did with Aaron, but at the end of the day, I just don't care.

First time we've both agreed on a score, and it's not a good score... let's hope the rest of the season fairs better.
