Brawl: World Records

Believe it or not, the Smash Bros Dojo!! was updated on August 22nd. I happened t just find this out of boredom, but the update is pretty neat. What the team did was, utilizing the internet I assume, was create a database of Home-Run Contest and Target Smash records according to character. It gives you a good idea of who's better or worse at what events.

So we don't get leaderboards in game, but we get a seemingly random (albeit generic) update on the game's site 5 months after release ... awesome. I wonder if there were any other updates I may have missed? .. nope!

Smash Bros Dojo! Update

Yeah, never thought I'd be doing this again, but to commemorate the European release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (FINALLY!) Sakurai has upload the third, and i assume final, rendition of "Snapshot Galore".

This is it, the final daily update to the Smash Bros. Dojo! ... the go out, Sakurai-san wrote a nice letter about the sites history as well as gave us some stats about the website. A fitting close i suppose, but future update were hinted upon, my guess is for when the game FINALLY gets a Europe/Australia release date. Another big update was added about "Smash Trivia" which essentially was also those little nick-nack things that people just want to know, like "Snake will makes weird expression when you touch him that way..."

I just think i'm gonna have a tough time adjusting to the no updates because if i wasnt staying up till 2-3 am in the summer to see the update, id get up at 6 am to see it before school. And that has been going on on for the past year or so... i feel like a meth addict >_< Smash Bros. Dojo!

Mysteries of the Subspace Emissary

A very interesting update today in the Smash Dojo, as the story of the Subspace Emissary is largely revealed. Many plot-points and character objectives are revealed, which really helps to understand what exactly was going on in some parts of the story and how everything came about.

If you were a little confused about the story, then definitely check out the Dojo for all the information.

Smash Bros. Dojo! : One week left....

According to a notice above the updates at the Smash Bros Dojo! the daily updates will halt as of April 14th. That's 7 days, or one week, from now! Being as todays update basically told us everything there is to unlock in the game i can't imagine there being much more to cover.....

personally... i'm gonna feel weird because every weekday morning for the past (2 years?) i've gone on my Wii in the morning or stayed up till 2-3 a.m. just to see the updates... it's like breaking a bad habit :(

The Dojo

So, you know smashbros.com of course, the Dojo...I think it needs to retire itself.

Today's update: Shiek's special moves, bleh, and the credits.....shoot stuff for coins? Really? Did we really need an update on that? I'm pretty sure people can figure it out....you shoot something, coins pop out, you get said coins...it's not too complicated.

How about some strategies? That would be nice. How bout some strategies on how to beat some Event matches or how to take on Intense characters or how to perform special, advanced techniques....something useful. You know?

The site was awesome before the game was released, with all kinds of cool info, but now...I just don't see the point.
