The Art of Jen Stark

I know we cover alot here at VFH, but one of the things I'd like to cover, but never get around to is art. I came across a website of a very unique artist, Jen Stark, who's works mainly consist of very well cut paper in intricate patterns. It may not sound like much, but can you do this? :

The sculpture section has many similar designs as this, her drawing portfolio has pieces that are as, if not more intricate as her paper scultures, and there's a stop motion animation of a paper design that boggles the mind if you've ever attempted it yourself. Official Sackboy papercraft

It's nt often you come accross official papercrafts, but when you do it's pretty cool. This one is direct from Media Molecule, and is a blank model for a Sackboy or Sackgirl from LittleBIGPlanet! Print it and create it as much as you want, they'll be accepting photos of your creations. Follow the image below

Toy-A-Day

I found this blog via PaperKraft.net; blooger, Joe, is conducting a project, to create one papercraft a day based upon a simple form he created. He is currently at Day 17 and all of the models are actual;ly looking quite nice despite the simplistic style. The models range from anime characters, to classic cartoon stars, game characters, comic characters, and movie characters; at least so far.

While there please be sure to add a comment or two to his posts, and even make requests as stated on the main page. I requested quite a few myself, but who knows, i'll let the artist decide what he wants for his own project. I just hope he can pull it off in the next 348 days!

Katamari Papercrafts

Found this gallery via PaperKraft.net , if you're a fan of Katamari and enjoy papercrafting i suggest you check this out. There's models for The Prince, 17 of his cousins, a few Katamari (the ball) models, and even a party hat!

Official Pikachu Papercraft

In in honor of the new Pokemon Farm Channel recently released on Japanese WiiWare, Nintendo and Ambrella have put up a papercraft of Pikachu in the style of the game, so it's super-simplistic.
