Episode 18 - "The Man from the Other Side"
If there's anything you need to know about this episode it's that Walter finally reveals (sort of) to Peter that he was taken from the alternate universe, oh, and the shape shifters from earlier this season are back. It's kind of a typical "case of the week" episode, except that it's actually involving the main story, so for me it was kind of mixed. It had all the aspect of a great story-focused Fringe episode, but at the same time it stuck to the typical formula: someone runs into something where, Walter/Peter/Olivia investigate, someone comes up with a crazy theory/go to Massive Dynamic, villain plots, someone realizes something at the end, and problem solved, insert shocking cliffhanger.
So, it's hard to call this episode fantastic, the case was definitely interesting, and it was nice to get yet another episode that's sticking to the main story. But, the formula is getting annoying, and despite Peter's realization that he is from the other universe has finaly happened and is supposed to be a big deal... it's more like ABOUT TIME.
Overall Score: 8.5/10
