Fantastic Mr. Fox - Official Website
First thing, I guess I was misinformed, but I swore this film was going to be released under the Fox Searchlight banner, and not 20th Century Fox... so much for that Fox Searchlight press account I just got.
As for the film itself, it's peculiar to say the least. I never read Roald Dahl's original Fantastic Mr. Fox storybook, but much like the rest of his literary work I assume it's very British. So maybe it's just Fox misrepresenting the film, as the try to make Wes Anderson's usually artsy style look like its a comedy in the vein of Ice Age, and chances are it wil be nothing like that; point being, other than the visual style of the models and puppets, I'm not getting a British vibe from the trailer and that's a little unsettling.
I think the real verdict will be seeing some actual film clips and not a gagged up trailer; just something a bit more propper at least before the film releases this November.

I will never understand your fascination with British stuff. Still, it looks good.
