First look at Astro Boy

To be honest, I'm not sure the age of this, but it's news to me. Casting for the upcoming Astro Boy CGI movie was announced today, of which included Nicholas Cage.. so I'm kind of nervous now, but who cares about stars. I'm personally a big fan of Astro Boy, so I am quite interest to see where this film will go. It's being produced by IMAGI, the company responsible for the recent TMNT film (which actually was the #1 movie at the box office when it came out, if that means anything). The studio also has a Gatchaman GCI film in the works, both it and Astro Boy are planned for a 2009 release.

It seems decent enough for now, but I'm still curious to see if the cast will make or break this thing. The cast includes Freddie Highmore as Astro Boy; as well as Nicolas Cage, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy, and Donald Sutherland, each with yet to be named roles.
