Call this upsetting news, in my opinion at least, Death Cab For Cutie have a new single releasing next month, but that's actually the good part. The bad part? It's releasing as a single from the New Moon soundtrack. Yes, New Moon as in the next Twilight film... As MTV (of course) reports.
The song, "Meet Me on the Equinox," will premiere on MTV.com on September 13th, the same day as this year's MTV Video Music Awards. When I first heard the news that Death Cab had new material, I was happy... the whole vampire-kids and MTV association really put me off though. I don't know if I'll be able to listen to the track...
