As you can see, Robert Downey Jr. is back as Tony Stark, and now has a fancy new lab with four of his suits on display. Though, if I remember correctly ... wasn't that first suit (all the way on the left there) destroyed? Continuuity errors Mr. Favreau? Tsk tsk.

No, Obi had re-built the prototype that Tony used to escape. You'll recall Pepper saying "Funny, I thought it would be bigger" when she arrives with the S.H.E.I.L.D. agents to arrest Obi.
At that moment she was, in fact, looking at the original suit. Then Obi pops his head out in his upgraded "Iron Monger" suit and the final fight ensues.
They are actually holding vary firm to the comic in that Tony Stark never mothballed any of the suits he designed. He has quite a collection these days.
