This Week In Lost - 2/4/09

After an awesome week of Desmond and Farady's struggles through time, we sadly have to return to the Oceanic Six. Does the episode suffer from the same boring and criss-crossed troubles of "The Lie"? Or does the episode give the Oceanic Six a second chance? Let's find out.

Episode 4: "The Little Prince"

JDW says: The episode starts off with Kate leaving Aaron with Sun while she can figure what to do about the lawyers coming after her, but soon she may find out that that may have not been the wisest of choices. Back on the island, after awakening the fallen Charlotte, Locke convinces the troop to go to the Orchid to find out how to get off the island. Yet, return to Jack, Sayid, and Ben, and it turns out the people coming after Sayid have a connection to someone familiar, or so we think. There's a lot of back and forth between the Oceanic Six and the people on the island, but it works much better than it did in Episode 2. Id say more, but c'mon, it's spoilers.

As just stated, while the episode is a bit messy what with all the parallel stories going on, it works much more than previously. In fact, the aspect of so many plot twists and revelations makes it, in a sense, forgivable. And I won't say anything in detail, but the ending alone makes next week feel so far away. Can't wait!
JDW's Score: 8.5/10

Zach says:
Another week, another episode of Lost. This episode didn't seem too eventful, as the plot is split between the island crew and the Oceanic Six. Some more people try to kill Sayid and we find out who wants "Kate's" kid, Aaron. There are some more time issues with the peeps on the island, with some MORE people attacking them, and a character whom we believe to have been dead is found to be alive, which is always fun.

Overall, this week's episode wasn't as exciting I don't think, but there were still a few "surprises" which make for good TV and you'll have to tune in next week to hopefully come to some resolutions, while of course bringing up other issues.
Zach's Score: 7.5/10

Overall Score: 8/10

Not bad, not bad at all. If the previews for next week are anything to be believed, we should be in for a good show. See you then!
