This Week in Lost - 2/25/09

Interesting note about this week's episode, it was actually written at the same time as last week's, however the producers felt the episodes were interchangeable, so it's a week late. None the less, it all works out just fine, so why don't we just get onto the reviews:

Episode 7: "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"

JDW says: This week's episodes start off with the mysterious man we saw on flight 316 last week; his name is soon revealed to be Caesar and he's the leader of a new group of survivors. Thing is ... Locke's there too, and he's alive. Soon after, we are flashed back, and we learn just how John Locke came to be Jeremy Bentham, hence the episode's title. Seriously though, I can't say much more because the whole episode is a big spoiler.

First off, a complete turn around from last week, because things actually happened. Not just that, but we weren't constantly tossed back and forth between the island dwellers and the Oceanic Six. So it's pretty nice to sit and watch a constant story, without any distractions breaking it up, and hey, you'll even get to see some face you haven't seen for some time. If only the rest of the season stays this good.
JDW's score: 9.2/10

Zach says: This week leaks the truth behind the life of Jeremy Bentham, aka John Locke. John successfully makes his way off the island and is tasked with getting the others to go back with him, which of course gets done as we have seen in the previous episode.

Some interesting things come into question, like what is Ben's motivation for getting the others back on the island, and what is Charles Widmore up to? I don't want to spoil too much, but some other things get answered, and let me just say that there are some similarities between Jack's father and Locke...
Zach's score: 9/10

Overall Score: 9.1/10

Well, this are certainly interesting again, and judging by the scores it's certainly a step forward from last week. Let's hope next week will also do the series justice. See you then!
