New Pillows album releases in 2 weeks?!

Well, this is what happens when one of your favorite bands is located on the other side of the Earth and no one in America wants to release the album here. The Pillows apparently are releasing a new album on June 25th in Japan. It's title Pied Piper and will also include the previously released singles Ladybird Girl, Tokyo Bambi, and New Animal.

On a side note, this is the 2nd album by The Pillows under the Avex Trax label. Noting, the previous album, Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!, was only released here via iTunes. Where as two out of three of their albums prior to the new label (Penalty Life and My Foot; Good Dreams was released in between but never released here) were released here via Geneon, which is no longer a brand and may have to do with no CD release. Personally I feel that it's a shame as there's always something more special about a CD and its case than just a series of files..
